Brief to the Independent Scientific and Technical Commission on the Recognition of Academic Freedom
Academic freedom has its place both as an extension of Charter rights, including freedom of expression, and as a condition for the realisation of the right to education. The Commission believes that the right to education could be incorporated into the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms in order to strengthen academic freedom.
