Groupe d’action contre le racisme: Promising measures but lack of a national policy
The Commission reacts to the release of the report of the Groupe d'action contre le racisme. While deploring the fact that the report does not include a national policy to combat systemic racism and discrimination, it welcomes the implementation of certain structural and systemic measures that it had recommended, including an end to random police stops and mandatory training for all government employees on the issue of racism and Aboriginal realities.
