The Québec Court of Appeal upholds a ruling condemning the Université de Sherbrooke and a union for discrimination based on age

The Court of Appeal recently upheld a ruling which sentenced the Université de Sherbrooke et a a union representing professors to pay damages of approximately $600,000 to five engineer-professors. They had filed a complaint of discrimination based on age with the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse that took their case to the Québec Tribunal of Human Rights.
