The Commission will investigate the death of a child in Granby. Independent of the government, it will use its investigative powers in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms and the Youth Protection Act and issue its recommendations and ensure their implementation.
Montréal, May 1, 2019 – The Commission will investigate the death of a child in Granby under its mandate under the Youth Protection Act. Independent of the government, it will use its investigative powers in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms and the Youth Protection Act and issue its recommendations and ensure their implementation.
As with any of the Commission's investigations, the conduct of this investigation is not public. The Commission will therefore make no further comments on this subject.
