Judge orders payment of more than $6,600 to a couple discriminated against by a Sherbrooke hotel owner because of a guide dog

Montréal, April 22, 2021 — A fear of dogs is not a justification for discrimination, the Human Rights Tribunal has ruled in a case of discrimination based on disability brought by the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse.
