Employee fired because of a disability: an employer condemmed by the Human Rights Tribunal

A retirement home has been condemmed by the Human Rights Tribunal to pay more than $11,000 in material, moral and punitive damages to an employee who was fired because of her health condition. The case was brought before the Tribunal by the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse.
