A couple from Trois-Rivières ordered to pay over a million dollars in damages for having exploited an elderly man

​​A couple from Trois-Rivières has been ordered by the Tribunal des droits de la personne to pay over a million dollars in damages to the estate of a man who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. They had manipulated and exploited financially the man for more than five years, taking advantage of his vulnerability.​
