The right to health and the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms
On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, the Commission reiterates its recommendation to include the right to health in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The Québec Charter is a unique legislative tool in that it recognizes economic and social rights. However, the right to health is still not enshrined in it.
