[ Close window ] Laurent McCutcheon Laurent McCutcheon was formerly a senior civil servant and administrative judge. He has directed the gay helpline Gai Écoute since 1982 and, in 2000, launched the Fondation Émergence, which he also chairs, to help gays and lesbians reach their full potential as members of society and to fight anti-gay prejudice. As an active militant for over 30 years, Laurent McCutcheon has always targeted social change as an objective. In 2007, he received the Rights and Freedoms Prize from the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse. |
