Jean-Claude Icart

Jean-Claude Icart is an associate professor in the sociology department at the Université du Québec à Montréal and a member of the Chaire de recherche en immigration, ethnicité et citoyenneté (CRIEC). His publications deal mainly with immigration and refuge, intercultural relations, racism and human rights. Before becoming a university researcher, Jean-Claude Icart worked for many years in the fields of community action, adult education and international cooperation.
