Marc-André Dowd

Marc-André Dowd is a lawyer holding a Bachelor’s degree in law from Université Laval and a Master’s degree in public administration from the École nationale de l’administration publique (ÉNAP). From 1994 to 1997, he was vice-chairman of the Conseil permanent de la jeunesse (permanent council on youth). Since 1997, he has worked at the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse in various positions, becoming vice-president in June 2005. Marc-André Dowd teaches regularly at the bar school organized by the École du Barreau du Québec.
