François Crépeau

François Crépeau was appointed to the Hans and Tamar Oppenheimer Chair in Public International Law at McGill University in January 2009. From 2001 to 2008 he was a professor of international law at Université de Montréal, holder of the Canada Research Chair in International Migration Law, and scientific director of the centre for international study and research (CERIUM) at Université de Montréal. A member of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, François Crépeau won one of the five awards presented in 2008 by the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation.
